WinEst Assemblies & Conditional Items
In this webinar we take a deep-dive into assembly development. We start by building a basic assembly, then add Pick Items. After that we turn some of these into Specification Variables. To finish up the assembly we show how to use procedures with If-Else logic to calculate field values. We also take a look at Conditional items. These are items that get one or more values based on another item or group of items.
WinEst Filters & Reports
In this webinar we take a look at the power of filters, or views, and the ease of customizing these. These filters allow you slice-and-dice your estimate in a multitude of ways. We follow this with configuring WinEst reports. Reports use a combination of filters for content, and page styles for the page layout. Once we have the filter and the page style set up properly, we can generate reports. Most reporting needs can be handled directly in WinEst using this method.
WinEst Database Editing
In this webinar we take a look at editing an Item database, also commonly known as a Price Book or Cost Library. We show how to edit individual items, how to edit multiple items in a spreadsheet and how to update items from the estimate into the database. We follow this with editing the Labor & Equipment database. Editing and building your own labor rate and crew tables will allow you to more efficiently and more accurately develop estimates. With this knowledge, you can build you own databases from scratch, using your data.
WinEst OST Integrator
In this webinar we show you how to take advantage of the add-on module, OSTI, also known as the OST Integrator. After you have done your drawings in OST, you can take the quantities from those conditions and populate WinEst items and assemblies using the integrator. This lets you take advantage of the power of WinEst estimating without sacrificing the capabilities OST.
WinEst Schedule Link
In this webinar we show you how this add-on module lets you take your estimate data, complete with labor hours, labor productivities and other costs, and populate a Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 schedule. We show how to prep the data for export, how to export and how to update. This is a time-saver as it eliminates manual and duplicate data entry.
WinEst Enterprise Data Manager (EDM) and SQL Reporting
In this webinar we show how to use the add-on module EDM to manage your estimates. It is commonly used for storing different phases of estimates. These can be reported on using software designed to work with Microsoft SQL, such as Crystal Reports or Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). In this webinar we show how to generate reports on individual estimates or across multiple estimates using SSRS.
