Target Costing with Trimble Vico Office

Target costing design has continually proven to be one of the most powerful benefits of leveraging Vico Office for BIM. In this episode of Building with Trimble, Matt Zwetzig, of Vega Architecture in Denver, shows their preferred approach to the target costing workflow.

Within the session you’ll learn how Vico Office can be used to set target pricing with even the lowest levels of design concept; once set, target costs serve as a continual benchmark that can be tracked against each and every iteration of the design. You’ll learn how setting target costs provides for a more predictable project in terms of meeting program requirements and project budget. Afterwards, attendees will have a firm grasp on how to replicate a similar workflow on their own projects by using Vico Office’s model-based estimating approach.
